Is Allen a user in the VSS database you're trying to connect to? You must have a valid VSS account in the VSS database. Logging into SOS is just a pass-through to VSS.

Thanks so much for the help.

Yes, Allen is a user in the Source Safe database and it works when I login using VSS client. Any other suggestions?

Can another user log in to the same database via SourceOffSite? Is Allen the only user who's not found?

Verify that the database configured in the SOS Server manager is the same one Allen can connect to with VSS. Try deleting and recreating Allen's account in VSS.

Problem Solved. Thanks for the information. I had SOS pointing to the wrong SS database.
