I have just installed Source Vault on my laptop and I was trying to perform at "Get Latest" to get all of my projects when I get the following error:
An exception was encountered during the get latest operation. Exception: Server was unable to read request. --> There is an error in XML document (1, 967). --> The 'ItemPath' start tag on line '1' does not match the end tag of 'ItemPa<'. Line 1, position 1019.
This error occurs only when I try to get more than 3 or 4 files at a time.
The error only occurs on my laptops (have tried it on more than one, both from a fresh install and patch of Windows XP), it does not occur on my office desktop.
This same error causes me problems when trying to issue a Get Latest in Visual Studio 2003 as well.

XML Error when trying to execute Get Latest
Moderator: SourceGear
I saw something like this & reported it earlier
(Darn -- this forum is giving the "You must select a topic to reply to" error all the time these days -- I wonder if they are working on that bug -- I keep reporting it, because I've gotten no response from anyone if they've read my report.)
I reported a bug that sounds like this one on Monday I think, on this forum, but haven't gotten any response; I don't know if they read my bug report. I hope they read one of ours.

Perry could I ask you to do a separate post on the problems posting to the forum? If you post a Vault issue in the same post, we probably are going to concentrate on that rather than on a "posting to the forum" issue. Trying to address two very different issues in the same thread can get confusing. Thanks.
