VS2003 hangs when getting Web projects (SG Ver 3.1.6(3658)

When we try and access a project using Open from Source control... every is pulled down except the web projects. VS seems to hang on Initialising Offline Cache or Contacting Web Server.
We have found that if we Get latest version from Source Gear client, and then open the solution using VS as per normal (File->Open) or click the link we get all the projects, but the web ones and .sln file are NOT under source control...We then have to redo the binding.

Is this a known issue? If so, what is the fix??

Not a known issue. We can try to reproduce it here. Can you describ the structure of your project?
