Hello,
I'm running Vault 3.1.6 on MS-SQL 2000 and all is great! I just added a new MS-SQL 2005 server to our cabinet and I'd like to put it to use. I don't want to break what is already running great but I'd like to point new repositories on the new database server. Is it possible to have a Vault installation where it can use multiple databases, i.e. add the MS-SQL 2005 server as an option for repositories and remain within licensing at the same time?
Thank you.
Multiple Databases?

Vault is designed to access only one sgvault database on one SQL Server machine.
Our licensing is for one named user on one Vault Server. If you installed another Vault Server on another machine to point to SQL Server 2005 those users would each need an additional Vault license.
You could move your database to SQL Server 2005 from the SQL Server 2000 machine, if you'd rather use the latest version.
