Caching problem?

Post by aduggan » Fri Dec 23, 2005 9:34 am

Vault 3.1.5

We're installing Vault and I had a failed import process, so I restored our Vault database back to a clean initial database (no files) in order to start the import process again.

I have not re-run the import, just added the license and users to the database. So it should be empty.

However, there's a problem. When I connect to the Vault, the repository info says 0 files, but the Vault client shows the original imported folder structure and files.

I cleared my Vault client cache (and even uninstalled and reinstalled), but I'm still seeing the folders.

Other users who have never connected to this database also see the folder structure when they connect.

Is there a server side cache?

What do I need to do to clear this out?

Thanks!

Try restarting IIS, which will restart the Vault Server.

Yup, that was it.

The fact that it did show the correct number of files/folders for the new database threw me.

All better.
