Check out /in from different computers

I am working from 2 different works stations and can't find a way of checking in files from one computer that are checked out from the other computer. Is there a easy way to do that?

The files are checked out to a file server with same file path from both computers, computer name differs of course.

Files can be checked in only from the computer from which they are checked out. You can undo the checkout from another machine, however.

Does this help to resolve the problem?
