File name encoding and Windows Server 2003

File name encoding and Windows Server 2003

I have dowloaded Vault 3.1.5 and have got eval licence. Now I am trying use it. All works fine with Windows XP machine. But I have some problems with Windows Server 2003: when I try to check in file named russian name Vault answer "Unable to open file: <ugly wry file name>".

Do you recall what database collation you chose when you installed the Vault Server? Did you use the default, Latin1-General, etc?

Check the Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel to see how the settings differ between the XP machine and the Windows 2003 machine.
