"make writable" checkbox checked by default?
I am supporting a team of developers and business analysts in a project and we are using Source OffSite 4.1 as source control. On one of the business analyst's machines, when they run "Get latest" through the Source Offsite client program, the "make writable" checkbox is checked by default. I have not been able to find a place to change this in the options. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, and have even tried deleting the directory that contains the database info in the document and settings for that username. Anyone have an idea on how I can make this box stay un-checked by default? It is strange because it is only on this machine.
Check the client options under Tools->Options->Files.
If "Use read-only flag for files that are not checked out" is checked, then SOS will make the files read only on a Get. (Note: it will not change the setting once the files are in the working directory.)
