Hello,
I am using Visual Studio.NET 2003 to check out a project from our Vault repository.
I go to File->Source Control->Open From Source Control ... and then I select the project folder I need to check out.
This takes me to the "Set Project Location" window where the "Enter Working Copy Location Here" field is blank (this is usually automatically filled in for other projects). I enter <pre>http://localhost/<path to folder>/</pre> and then hit OK.
This gives me an error saying "The parameter is incorrect." When I close this I get a prompt saying "Some of the project locations you specified are not valid.", which I "Cancel" to take me back to the "Set Project Location" window. On this window, the URL <pre>http://localhost/<path to folder>/</pre> is underlined in red.
This is the first time I have experienced an error like this, and it is working for other project folders in the same repository. I cannot see anything different in the files for the project that won't open, so I am really at a loss here.
My local IIS server is running properly, and I tried deleting the cache files and restarting the server, but that didn't help.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

VS2003 Cannot Open From Source Control

When you refer to this dialog, do you mean the "Create local project from Vault" dialog? This takes me to the "Set Project Location" window where the "Enter Working Copy Location Here" field is blank (this is usually automatically filled in for other projects).
What version of Vault are you using?
Are the other projects also web projects? This is the first time I have experienced an error like this, and it is working for other project folders in the same repository. I cannot see anything different in the files for the project that won't open, so I am really at a loss here.
You may want to try to unbind the project from source code control and rebind it and then attempt to reopen the project again.
Thanks,
