vb6 IDE integration and SOS 4.0

I just upgraded to SOS 4.0, both client and server. I am using the vb6 integration. With version 3.5, the "Source Code Control Results" dialog box that appears just after login automatically disappeared when the download of the file list was complete. With 4.0, however, the dialog box remains open until I click "Close" (it shows nothing in the list box and "completed" at the top. How can I make this dialog close automatically as it did in version 3.5?

In 4.0, there is a new IDE Client option to output all status messages through the IDE. With VB 6, I believe this results in the behavior you are seeing. To turn this option off, go to the VB menu:

Tools -> SourceOffSite -> Options

and in the resulting dialog, click the Advanced button. Then in the General tab, you'll see a dropdown for setting status message output.

Thanks. I set the option to "Use Popup Dialogs" and now the dialog box goes away automatically.
