Release Code - Best way to store it?

Post by mshe » Wed Nov 30, 2005 12:21 pm

Hi all,

We like to place release code into the repository - what's the best way of storing it? Our release code will consist of both the source code + compiled binaries.

Are there any features I should at specially in Vault?

Thanks.

Are the source code and binaries already in the repository? If so, you can label the parent folder at the the version that corresponds to the finished release.

If the release isn't in the folder tree, you can create a folder in Vault for your release code and binaries and add them to Vault with the "Add Files/Folders" command.

Let me know if I'm misunderstood your question.
