Hello,
I cannot get another version of a pinned file other than the pinned version.
If the file is branched or shared, it works fine. The get works and SOS displays it as Old with the retrieved version.
If the file is pinned, even if I remove the existing one, the get succeeds but SOS reports the same version as the pinned whether the get was on an older version or a newer.

Get fails on pinned files

Xavier,
When you pin a file, you are locking in a particular version of the file. In other words, no changes can be made to a file as long as it is pinned. Thus, when a Get Latest operation is performed on a pinned file, the pinned version is the version that will be retrieved, even if there is a more recent version.

Tonya,
I forgot to say that I use the history dialog box to get this other version.
I understand a GLV always retrieve the pinned version, but in my case, I select a version in the history and click Get. I can extract any version of an unpinned file, but only the pinned version whatever version I select in the list before clicking Get.
Couldn't I have an older version than the pinned one at least ?
