Erro connecting to vault

Post by CarlosH » Wed Nov 16, 2005 11:52 am

We get tha following error when trying to connect to using the client

You have no rights to see this repository

Our vault client is 3.1.2(3511)

The server version is 3.1.2.3511

Whan I try to change the enable folder security of the repository in the vault admin to disable, I get the the following error

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> VaultLib.VaultBuildTreeException: Error in the application.
at VaultServiceSQL.VaultSqlSCC.GetRepositoryTree(VaultSqlConn conn, Int32 nRepID, Int64 nTxID, Boolean bNeedCurrentHashes, VaultRepository& rep)
at VaultServiceAPILib.VaultTreeManager.GetCurrentTree(VaultSqlConn vsConn, Int32 nRepID, VaultLogManager vlm, VaultLoginInfo vli)
at VaultServiceAPILib.VaultTreeManager.GetCurrentTree(VaultSqlConn vsConn, Int32 nRepID, VaultRepository& repOut)
at VaultServiceAPILib.VaultTreeManager.GetCurrentTree(Int32 nRepID, VaultRepository& repOut)
at VaultService.VaultAdminService.EditRepository(Int32 nRepID, String strRepNameChange, Boolean bChangeFolderSecurity)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---

What should we do to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Do all users get this message? Were they able to connect before?
If so, did anything change?

Could you reproduce the error, then send me a copy of the sgvault.log file from the Vault server %windir%\temp\sgvault directory?

No one can connect. Here is the log file. Everything was working fine before, we turn off the server for some maintence( adding a second hard drive) and then we got this error message.

We didn't get the log file. You might want to email it to Linda at sourcegear.com.

Do you have a good backup of your database that you can restore?
