Installer chokes on checking IIS version

The installer doesn't get past checking IIS version when doing a clean install or an upgrade.

version info.

Windows 2003 IIS 6 (no sp1)
vault 3.1.2 and 3.1.5

There are approx. 129 sites running on the server, with each one or more seperate applications.

What's the exact error message?

When you're installing Vault, are you logged in with an account that has permisson to access/modify the registry on the Vault server machine?

There is no error message, the installer just freezes. I waited for an hour and killed it.

It doesn't appear to be rights issue, since uninstalling the previous version went fine.

Do you have a vault_install.log file? It would be in your user's temp directory. Email a copy to linda at Sourcegear.com. Be sure to provide a link to this post.
