FEATURE: Lock vault client during long processes

Today,

One of my developers incorrectly set his working folder to the working folder of the same folder in another branch. This caused vault to compare all the files in the repository with the ones in the incorrect working folder to basically get the delta between the locations.

However, it still allowed the developer to "Right-Click" on a folder and choose "Set Working Folder". However, after doing so, no dialog appeared and the only way to tell that vault was doing other work was the progress bar in the bottom right of the vault client window which we didn't immediately notice because we are new to vault.

So, can it be made so that a user can't use the gui when the gui is performing a long process?
