Hidden Milestones

We use milestones to group items together for future and present work.
If the milestone is in the indeterminate future, we will put a date on it like 31-december-2020. This will get reset when it is determined that the milestone should become active.

The problem is if we have two milestones on a project with the same date. If both milestones have items assigned then the Open Items view only shows one milestone with all items from both milestones under it.

We can work around it by using different dates.

This is a known issue and we do currently have this logged as a bug in Dragnet to be fixed in a future release.

Until it is fixed the workaround (as you stated) would be to make sure your milestone goal dates are all different.
