Getting started guide.

Hi,

I'm new to source control and source vault. Is there a 'getting started giude' that will walk me though setting up a repository and creating a basic vs.net project under vault?

This would be really usefull for me also. I am in the process of purchasing Vault for my company. I have used VSS before and understand the basic concepts, but I know soon I will be asked to provide training to the other developers who have never used source code control before.

I work with a team of about a dozen programmers, and I've been pushing for my managers to purchase a source control solution like Vault for awhile now, and they are finally drawing up the PO.

None of us have used Vault, Sourcesafe, or any other source control application except for a couple of homebrew ones. Was this guide ever finished/is it still available (the site seems to be offline atm)?

Does anyone know of any other guides/tutorials that would be good educational material for a team like mine?

Also, does Sourcegear provide, or know of any third parties that provide, any kind of web seminars or training on Vault? One of the requests of my managers before signing the PO for vault is to find out if there is any professional training available on the product.

Eric's tutorial is the best guide we have to source control with Vault (at http://software.ericsink.com/scm/source_control.html - sorry it was down today).

I don't know of any companies that do specific Vault training, but maybe some will chime into the forum here
