Branch/Copy between repositories

Post by gorshing » Thu Oct 27, 2005 10:34 am

I was curious if it is possible to do a branch/copy to another repository?

We are looking at creating multiple repositories to structure all of our projects better.

I was curious if it is possible to retain the history of files across two repositories. I would assume that when the files are copied across to another repository then they would take on their own identity.

The folder/project names will most likely change (as I said previously, we are looking at re-structuring) from what they were in the Default Repository.

No, you can't move, branch or share from one repository to the other in the current version of Vault. We are working on an archive\restore function for Vault for our next version, due out next year.
