Pin Unpin Problem

Hi,

I am using SourceOffsite Classic Version 4.1.

I have tried pinning and unpinning files as per the information provided in the product help.

This i did with the Admin user of VSS.

It Allowed me to pin the file but didn't allow me unpinning it the same way.

Please Help.

What version of the VSS automation component is on the SOS Server machine? Here's how to find out:

I have the same problem.
Server 3.4.3
Client 3.4.3
VSS 6.0d build 31222
SSAPI 6.0d build 31222

Some versions of the SourceSafe automation component work better than others with SOS. We haven't tested extensively with build 31222.

I'd suggest you download the Microsoft Hotfix version of VSS:
http://download.sourcegear.com/files/vss_60c_hotfix.zip

Replace the contents of your VSS\Win32 folder with the contents of the archive.
