Hi There,
a couple of days ago I imported a very small VSS-dB with some history into a new repository. The import took approximately 4 hours.
Because I wasn't pleased with the results I decided to delete the repository.
I started the deletion today at 7:30 CEST. Unfortunately it isn't done by now, which is approximately 5.5 hours later.
My developers are not able to connect to the vault.
Have you got any idea how I could get my developers back to work or how long it could take for the Vault to delete the repository ?
Regards,
John

About the only thing you could do to speed things up is make sure your database indices are defragged. Under the covers, nothing special happens in a repository deletion - rows are just removed from tables.
Although I'm not certain what can be done to improve things, I'll log a customer request about the speed of repository deletion.
