Cannot Delete File from Repository

I'm using Vault 3.1.2. I have a file which I must delete from the repository. Whenever I try, however, I get the following error:

[9/28/2005 10:38:46 PM] Item $/Veeco Probes Website/worka/site_parameters.asp caused the transaction to fail: The object could not be found. It may have been deleted, moved or renamed.

I've been using Vault for a grand total of one day, so I concede that there may be nuances I don't understand; nevertheless, this looks a bug to me. Any suggestions?

It's possible the file has been deleted, but the client-side cache was not updated to reflect this. The view you're seeing may be out of sync with the actual database.

Some ways to verify this:

-- delete your client-side cache files

or --

-- log in as a different user
-- log in from a different machine
These steps will read from a different cache file.

Let us know if this doesn't work.
