Vault / FogBugz Integration Issue

Post by dmcclean » Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:29 am

Vault Guys,
I have an issue with the integration between my Vault server and my FogBugz server.
When a filename in Vault containing a space is associated with a bug in FogBugz, and I then click on a link in FogBugz to see checkin information, and I haven't yet signed in to the Vault web page, the following happens:

The link from FogBugz contains the correctly URL-encoded form of the path to the file in the query string.
I am redirected from that URL to a login form.
I complete the login form.
I am redirected to a truncated URL that only includes the path up to the first space.
Vault fails because it cannot find the file, because it doesn't exist, because it only has part of the path.

Could you please advise me of any workarounds for this problem and consider a fix for your next release?

Thank You,
Douglas McClean

(Please note that I am not yet a paying customer of SourceGear. I am using Vault with myself as the only user. I expect to be purchasing two additional licenses sometime in the next year to facilitate collaboration between myself and some part-time help who from time to time assist on my projects. I understand if this means that you cannot support this issue. Thanks.)

I have reproduced this in house and logged a bug.

I am not sure of any work around at this time other than removing the spaces from the paths in Vault.

Thanks for the report. It should be fixed in the next release.
