Restoring Vault database on new machine

We are currently running 3.1.1 and had to reinstal MSDE, and VAULT on a different machine. I moved the backup that we took on the old machine to windows/system32 folder where I found it and did not see it listed in the backup list in Admin tools.

Any suggestions?

The backup information is stored in the Vault database. So if you installed Vault and created a new database, you'd lose the backup information.

Another possibility is that you restored a copy of a database made prior to the backup, so that the backup info is not in that database.

To restore the database you could run SQL commands from the command line.
