Command line doc?

Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I couldn't find an answer. Is there a document that describes the behavior of the command line client? Or is "vault HELP" the only available documentation?

There isn't a document; you need to use the Help command. You can also use Vault Help <commandname> for specific commands.

The Vault 3.1 CLC has a “helphtml” command that displays the command line client help in HTML format. It's currently in Beta.

I'd like to request a bit more documentation, as vault HELP isn't complete. For example the help for HISTORY says to "also see SERVER" (under the -host option), but I'm not seeing a SERVER command. Nor have I found any other way to set such a value.

There isn't a server command. The documentation is trying to say that -server can be used instead of -host. You're right, it's not very clear.

Documentation for the Vault 3.1 CLC is much improved over the 2.0.6 CLC doc, especially because you can see all the documentation in one HTML page.
