Installing SourceGear

Does the installation for the server have to be run on the server or can you run it from the clients computer?

The Vault Server installer makes registry changes and changes to folder permissions, creates directories, etc. It must be run on the machine hosting the Vault Server. We recommend running the installer from the C: drive.
