Is it possible to merge two existing Vault repositories?

I have two existing Vault repositories, each with thousands of files. I'd like to merge one into the other so that I can share files into folders that are currently in different repositories. I need to retain history for all items.

Is this possible? If not, are there any other options?

There's no way to move files across repositories and preserve history in the current version of Vault. We do plan to implement this in a future release; possibly Vault 4.0.
