bug: recursive project diff shows bad "right only"

Post by JT » Thu Aug 25, 2005 10:47 am

sos v4.1

within my vss tree I have a project "wwwroot" and a sub-project "includes"
if I do a "show differences" on the includes project, there aren't any (aside: why doesn't it give a message box saying "no differences found" instead of no UI at all?)
if I do a recursive "show differences" on the parent wwwroot project, then it shows every file in the includes subfolder as being "right-only" (i.e. on my local drive)
even though the file is in fact in the project.

I have tried refreshing the file list and project tree, and restarting the client, but same results.

fyi, I just restarted the sos service on the server, and now it is working as expected.

I take that back... I didn't wait long enough.
even after the service restart, the problem is still happening!

There are some bugs in the diff for SOS 4.1, which have been fixed in our next release. SOS 4.1.2 should be out by the end of this month.
