Upgrade and move to new server

I am currently on version 2.05 and just upgraded to the Gold Support for the v3.1 license.

Since I’m about to do an upgrade, I want to move to another SQL Server that has more memory and drive space.

What is the best way to upgrade and move my DB to another server all at the same time?

Obviously I will need to install the v3.1 server software on the new SQL Server but after that what is the best course of action?

Run the Vault 3.1.1 installer after you've restored/attached your database to the new SQL Server and the installer will upgrade your database to the new version.
