Email Notification feature suggestion

Email Notification feature suggestion
Would it be possible to add an option where I am not notified if I check a file in? I use Email Notification as a means of monitoring when other people have altered code files I care about. I'm well aware when I alter the file myself, I'd prefer not to have Vault email me that I have done so.

Ah, sorry for the double-post, should have searched first.

Greetings,
I just started using the email feature in Vault and think it's pretty cool.
I do have a suggestion though, would it be possible to not send an email
when I've checked in a file. Afterall, I should have a pretty good idea
that I just checked in the file and know what changes I've made
Thanks for considering it!

This would need to be optional. I like being able to forward the check-in
email to someone to let them know about some changes.
What would really be nice (that I was just coming here to request) would be
the ability to make the email come from the user's email address instead of
always a fixed account. This would allow someone to reply to a
notification without having to remember to change the "To" address. (I've
lost track of the number of times that I've forgotten to do this, and ended
up with my message in one of my other mailboxes (I'm in charge of the
mailbox for the email address that we use.)

Opinions differ on this, with some users wanting the notifications and
others not wanting more email clutter. We've actually had a rather lively
debate about this among our own developers here at SourceGear.
I would guess that our customers will determine the final outcome.
I'll add Zack's "vote" to a feature request for no email.
And I'll add another vote (from Greg) to make it optional.
(I've also added a request to have it come from the user's email address.)
