It would be good if the GUI client would find new file in a directory. If I add a file into a directory, 90% of the time it's a file I'd like to check-in. To avoid false positive, it would be great to have a set of wildcard-mask (i.e. *.sql, *.txt, ...) to define what it interesting to automatically prompt to check-in.
After several months of Vault usage even for file not handled by VS.NET, I often found that some file is missing into the repository.

Some improvement
Thanks for the suggestion, I forgot this feature.
Some possible minor improvements:
- define wildcards to include in alternatve to wildcards to exclude
- file preview in a context menu when you see the file list
Not a very high priority, but something that could be useful.

Another suggestion
BTW, other tools displays (n the GUI interface) files that are in a directory but not in the repository with a label "Not in repository", so it's easy to see that some file is missing.
This would be a very good feature in Vault
