Does sourcesafe/sos support hidden directories and links?

I am assuming no because I get an error in sos 3.5 when I try to add a file into a sos folder named ".deps"

In VSS, you can add a project that begins with a "." but there's a syntax error when you add files. If you can't do it with VSS, you won't be able to with SOS, either.
