Show History by Version still not working in Vault 3.1

Hi,
I have just updated our Vault installation to Vault 3.1.0.3494. The problem I was having with "Show History by Version" (http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=4211) still occurs. I still have to minimise the history window in order to see any of the history.

I thought this problem was supposed to be fixed in 3.1?

Anybody here at SourceGear know if this problem was ever reproduced here?

I thought this problem was supposed to be fixed in 3.1?


We did suggest you try Vault 3.1 to see if it made a difference, but we weren't able to reproduce this here, so there wasn't a particular fix.

If I recall, the History operation worked on other users' machines. Is there anything different about your machine compared to the machines where Vault History works properly?

The only difference that I could think of is that I have .Net 2 beta installed. But I have just asked a colleague who also has .Net 2 installed to try the same operation, and it works on his machine.

I can't think of any other differences: what kind of things should I look for?

Compare the Vaut client information in Help->Technical Support. Is your OS different? .NET Framework version different? Are other users doing the exact same history operation using the same options?

Sorry about the delay.

There are no differences in any of the things that you mention. The Operation I am doing is exactly the same.

Since this is machine-specific and not reproducible on other machines, it's hard to say what's going on. It appears to be some sort of problem with drawing the History window.

When there are GUI client issues like this, we sometimes suggest reinstalling the .NET Framework, although I can't guarantee that this would solve the problem.
