Only Getting One Deleted Filename in Email Notification

Hi,

It seems that I'm only getting one filename in the
Vault 3.0.6 notification email body when I delete
multiple files. Didn't see anything about this in
the 3.0.7 release notes, so I guess it's still doing that?

Here is a snippet from the email I received from the
Vault server when I deleted "dualC.txt" and "dualD.txt"
together in my Vault 3.0.6 client:

"...The changes made are:

$/Test/Misc -- Deleted dualC.txt

For more details on this transaction, go to..."

Yes, there seems to be a problem with reporting deletes. If you click the link to the transaction info, the file info is all there, but the email doesn't list all the files deleted.

I'll log this as a bug and we'll look into it.

A follow-up:

There is also incomplete data in the transaction info table if I follow the link in the email body. This is evident upon batch commiting multiple deletions or multiple moves. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Thanks for the response, Linda. I'll email a screenshot if absolutely necessary, but to recreate this, simply set Vault to email you notifications, perform two deletes (non-autocommit mode) and commit the results. Notice that the file info is incomplete in the email body. Surf the link and notice that that information is incomplete as well.

OK, I see what you mean. These bugs are slated to be fixed in Vault 4.0.
