We get the following error message when pinning a shared file which is checked out in another project:
fail: The object could not be modified because it or one of its children is checked out.
But there is no reason why this should not work. I need to be able to pin to a label even if development of the file has already continued.
Please let me know if this is intended functionionality and if it can be changed.
Thanks,
Herbert.
Pinning shared files where original is checked out

Hi,
Could you tell me when we can have a fix for this? It's driving our configuration managers crazy. They have to repin many many files during a release, many of which are checked out. Its especially a problem when the person who has got the file checked out is not in the office....
Thanks,
Herbert.
