We're at the point of needing a remote-ing system for source control -- virtualizing our office...
Anyhow, We could just do SourceOffSite -- but I am interested to find out what features the Vault has above and beyond SourceSafe.
Will it do a "branch merge"? Something SourceSafe doesn't actually do?
SourceOffSite or Vault?

You really should take a good look at Vault. SourceSafe hasn't been updated in years. Vault has many features that SOS users have requested, but we couldn't provide because VSS is not our product.

Vault has a merge wizard that supports merging branches. You can merge branch into trunk, trunk in to branch, or any two branches (folders).
See online help->Using Vault->Merge->Merge Branches.
