Is it possible to web deploy to an FTP address instead of lan address??

or does anybody know of a work around.

Sorry, no. SOS doesn't support deployment via FTP. We've had some users deploy to a directory on the LAN and then use an FTP program to deploy the contents of the directory elsewhere.

do you know or will the other clients know of an ftp upload tool?

poss 1 that can be run on a schedule, or monitors a folder.

I did a Google search on "automatically ftp when files change" and came up with some hits:
