Installed 4.0, runs, but won't get to the SourceSafe DB

The server gets up and runs. I have it set to the sourcesafe DB which is on the same machine, same drive and I verified that the SYSTEM account has full access to the source control repository. But this is what happens:

Users is able to connect to the server, chooses the database alias, but when they login it says it fails,to check the logs. The log only says:

Exception during Login: The specified module could not be found.
========

What does that mean?

Is debug logging turned on? I can't tell from the snippet. If not, could you enable it and see if that provides more information? Here's a KB article about how to turn on debug logging in 4.0:

Does this error occur whenever ANY user tries to login, or just one particular user?

Another thing to do is re-register the SourceSafe automation component.
