Can't see new project added by another developer

Another developer created a new project but I can't see it? Anyone run into this problem? I'm using 4.0.2.

Are project rights turned on for the repository? Do you have access rights for the project?

I along with the other developer were giving rights to add projects (giving the client software to install on our pc and userids and passwords). I just know we can create projects. I created one and everyone can see it, but when one of the other developers created a project I can't see it. I've reinstalled the client sos and that didn't help. I didn't see anywhere where you can set rights when you create a project? All I rememeber seeing was a simple dialog open to allow you to specify the name of the project and description.

Do I need to have the admin look into this?

yes it's related to sos.

Good catch, Jeff. We don't have a 4.0.2 version of Vault.

If you are using SOS, you need to refresh your project tree from root or at least a level higher than the new project. The refresh command is in the client under View.

If you still can't see it, then check if project rights are enabled in VSS.
