Hi folks
I've just created a new user (MrX) in Vault. He can log in OK, and he is active - but he cannot so much as get the repository folder listing. Error message: You do not have permission to perform the operation.
I tried creating a different "Test" repository, and he *could* log into that. He just cannot get into the live repository.
There is no folder security enabled on the live repository, and MrX is an active user of this repository.
I looked through your knowledge base, and couldn't find any related links. Please could you help us get our new user working?
Thanks,
Shaul

What version of Vault server are you running? Have you installed Vault 3.0.7?
If you close all instances of Vault GUI and IDE clients, rename %APPDATA%\SourceGear\Vault_1 to something else, restart the Vault server (iisreset.exe on the server), and then restart a Vault GUI client, do you get the same error?
If so, we'll have to take some steps to resynchronize the repository tree and transactions. I'll be able to assist you on Monday. When we're finished, make sure you upgrade to Vault 3.0.7 as it will prevent this particular problem.
