Capabilities of web client?

Post by ismangil » Tue May 10, 2005 3:45 am

What are actually the features of web client? I assume you cannot check in, delete, etc?

It seems perfectly suited for readonly users, just to see latest revision number & history (which we need).

Can we specify an excludeuser for the history (like in the CLC)?

So far, it is very basic read-only access to a repository. We don't have the ability to exclude a user name in a history query - it is just the ability to browse around a tree and see the changes made to files.

Excellent, read-only history browsing is exactly what we need at the moment. Giving these group of users Vault GUI client would be too complex.

As for the filtering, I'll just tell the users to use "human eye filtering", i.e. "ignore changes by 'build' users" :)
