Licensing Question

Is the licensing for vault per user - or per user per vault instance? I suspect it's #2 but I would like to make sure so I can figure out my pricing correctly.

Basically we are using Vault + FogBugz and would like to have a 2nd instance for another customer - we would like to have completely separate databases/installs just to keep them totally separate from one another. Since the same people will be using both instances I need to know if I am going to need two vault licenses for each user or only one? The FogBugz license seems to allow multiple instances and then it's licensed by user - see this thread: http://discuss.fogcreek.com/FogBugz/def ... xReplies=1.

According to our policies:

"A Vault user license allows you to have one named user account on one server."

It's at the bottom of this page:

So your suspicion is right -- one named account per Vault instance.

Cool, thanks - just making sure - wanted to ensure that I put in the request for the proper number of licenses.
