GUI client for OS X

Post by roman b » Wed Apr 20, 2005 4:34 pm

Does that mean I can just install it now and it will work? I'm a designer on a Mac and not very technical. Last time I installed I found that there was a lot of other stuff that needed to be installed that I didn't understand (something about GTK?).

If there's comprehensive instructions on how to get this to work on OS X, please let me know. The manual is a little lacking, and the search results on this forum didn't really narrow it down either.

Thanks!

It should Just Work. Basic steps:

Make sure X11 is installed. If not, download from Apple's web site.

Download GTK2.4 from http://people.sourcegear.com/~linda/ and install.

Then install SOS 4.11.

If something on your machine seems to be incompatible with our build, let us know.

Another option is to build your own client for our Unix Client source code. If you'd like that, email me at linda at SourceGear.com.
