Internal error 2352

I'm getting this error on one PC.
We've upgraded from 3.5.3 to 4.1, and the other systems have upgraded nicely.
The error seems to occur on file soscmd.exe.
We've uninstalled 3.5.3
Removed regidtry entries.
but so far, no luck getting the new client installed on one PC.

Are there any suggestions for us?

Are you unable to install the SOS 4.1 client on a particular machine?

What's the exact error message you are getting? At what point in the installation, do you see it?

The error seems to occur on file soscmd.exe.

Could you explain? Is "soscmd.exe" in the error message?

Yes. There is 1 PC that has this error when it starts to copy the files.

Copying new files...
File: soscmd.exe
Directory: C:\Programs Files\SourceOffSite\
Size: 167936
<then there is a progress bar>

A window pops up titled Installer Information
Internal Error 2352.
That's all it says. I can only click OK, and the install terminates.

The install MSI files worked OK, on my PC, and subsequently, on another PC, so the MSI is OK.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I've tried to totally remove the previous version, Registry and all, but I still get the same error at the same place.
