Can't check a file out.

Post by emarthinsen » Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:21 pm

Hello-

When I try to check out my csproj file (to remove som referencesfrom my .NET project), I keep getting the following error:

"Check out failed for $/MyProj/MyProj.csproj: Could not get the requested version of the object."

I haven't been able to find a workaround to get the right version. Can someone help? I pretty urgently need to check this file out. Thanks.

Regards-
Eric

You may want to check the Vault server log to see if it provides more information related to the problem.

It isn't clear whether this is a client or server issue. Are you using the IDE client on the Vault GUI client? Does the behavior change if you switch? Also, which version are you using?

If it seems to be client side, you might try deleting the client side cache. See http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 for details.

Clearing the cache got it to work.
