Missing Visual Foxpro 8 source files

Hi all,

We have been using Visual Foxpro with SourceGrear Vault for almost a year now and we have been having this problem very frequently. Following is the description of the problem:
1. We check out the Foxpro vcx and vct source files for editing
2. Make changes and save it and close it to do some testing
3. Foxpro either hangs or complains of missing vcx/vct files
4. When we check the source folder usually the vcx file is missing and once in a while the vct file is also missing
5. Right when this happens, SourceGear vault flickers rapidly and flags that the file is missing

Does anybody have similar problems. If so please let us know how to get around this very painful problem. We are losing lot of productivity because of this.

I wish we could be of help, but we haven't tested Vault with Visual FoxPro, and it's not officially supported.

Perhaps other Vault/Visual FoxPro users can chime in here if they've been able to resolve these types of problems.

Another option is to use the Vault GUI client for source control operations while doing development in Visual FoxPro.
