Check In Now

Hi,

I am using Visual Studio.Net 2003 with Vault 3.0.6. After checking out the item and have done with the editing, i right click on the file at the Solution Exporer. I only find the menu Check In Now. Once i click on that menu, it will just check in the file without displaying any dialog box for entering comments. It does show up when i check out the file. However, i will only be able to document the changes i have made much later. So, how do i get the comment dialog box to be displayed when i check in the file ?

From within VS.Net, go to Tools -> Options...

On the Source Control -> General section, you will see Display slient check in command in menus. Uncheck this option if you wish VS.Net to prompt you with the dialog.
