Hi,
I'm a new user of the Vault, and I seem to have just made a bit of a mistake!
From Visual Studio's 'Pending Checkins' window, I've just checked about 15 files in with the same comment when I only meant to checkin 2 of them!!
Can I 'undo' the other 13 checkins? I know I could just check them out again, but I don't really want my incorrect checkin comment left in the history!
Also - as an aside - I'd be interested to hear whether people use checkOUT comments or checkIN comments (or both)? What are the merits of one over the other?
Thanks,
- Chris
Can I Undo a Checkin?

Once the file is checked in you can't undo the checkout, but you can edit the checkout comment. Show history on the file, double click on the version with the comment. In the next screen (version details) you have the option to edit or delete the comment.
You can also rollback the file so the new (older) version doesn't have the comment, though file history will still show the comment on the version prior to rollback.
