Are there plans for a WebDAV-Integration?

We have some people we work with working on documentation and the stuff. We would naturally love to have this in Vault.

For those people, though, a lot of advcanced features are simply not necessary. They would be perfectly ok using only the Windows Explorer or Word for editing et al.

Now, those tools support, natively, WebDAV. And WebDAV has support for things like checkin/checkout. So, as a result, if Vault would support WebDAV, a totally second set of tools would exist to allow working with the content of the archive - a set of tools that is supported by more and more programs outside of the realm of IDE's (graphical toolkits, office etc.).

Any plans?

I'll add it to our feature request database, but realistically it's probably not something we'd implement any time soon.
