Long load times into Visual Studio.net 2003

Hi,
Has anyone come across issues with long load times, when opening a Project in Visual Studio using Source Offsite 4X client? I am not sure if this is the right forum for this issue, but any pointers towards this will certainly help.

What type of project is it and how long does it take to load?

Is the slowdown when you first retrieve the project from Source Control or when opening the project from your working directory?

How large is the project?

Are operations slow with the SOS GUI client as well?

I face the same issue as well.
It is taking a long to load the project tree, even when I am using the SOS client.

FYI, I am trying to connect to SOS server in US from Asia.
