Buy Vault 3.0 but run 2.0?

I'm in the position where we are running version 2.0 of Vault on one server and I won't be able to upgrade the users for the next few months at least.

I also need to buy and install a 2nd copy of vault - can I purchase Vault 3.0 but run 2.0 until I can upgrade everyone to 3.0?

(hopefully that made sense)

Yes, you can do this. You'll need to "downgrade" your Vault 3.0 serial numbers, receiving Vault 2.0 serial numbers in exchange.

After doing this, your Vault 3.0 serial numbers are still valid, so you can use them later.
